The Spitfire Double Chronograph from IWC saw the addition of a fascinating function to this prestigious watch line: the split-seconds hand, also known by its French name, “Rattrapante”. This feature can be used to time events or to measure intermediate times within a given minute with down-to-the-second precision. Apart from the additional hand, the feature that sets this watch apart is the third push-button located at the “10 o’clock” position on the case, which is mainly responsible for controlling intermediate times.
