The company was established in 1834 by Philipp Wolf I, a successful silversmith in Hanau, Germany. The tradition of box making developed by Phillipp Wolf I was passed through the generations. Through the years Wolf Designs has made many innovative and technological achievements. After 174 years the Wolf Family's business legacy proudly continues, offering not only jewelry boxes but also a wide variety of fine quality gift items as well.

Wolf Designs' latest break-through innovation is LusterLoc™. LusterLoc™ allows the fabric lining the inside Wolf cases to absorb the hostile gases known to cause tarnishing. In fact, under typical storage conditions, LusterLoc™ may prevent tarnishing for up to 35 years!
